Kind Words
In the world of “get on a go”, there is a disciple, Emma Davern, who cultivates qualities of patience, compassion and understanding towards the horse and rider. And, this method of understanding does not happen in a blink of an eye. It requires learning and evolving.
This method introduced to young thoroughbred mare rescued, from a kill pen brought back connection with humans, whilecreating partnership. I am so grateful to Emma for seeing the enormous potential in this horse. It is not an easy road to walk but this young trainer took on the responsibility, caring and integrity to bring this mare to second level dressage with her spirit, mind and soul intact. With love and appreciation…WaterLily whinnies and welcomes each meeting with her trainer.
“Somewhere in this is the soul-the relationships that taught us and the ones that continue to teach us to allow for the space where dignity is preserved and magic happens”.

“Emma Davern is an incredible educator and has transformed my riding. She is both dedicated and passionate about the sport and is so uplifting for her students. I highly recommend her for anyone looking to further their dressage education!”

“I started riding with Emma Davern three years ago. When she found us, we were lost and lacked confidence. Emma’s patience and encouraging support was exactly what we needed. She believe in us when we didn’t believe in ourselves. Now, my horse and I have a stronger than ever bond and we will be entering our third season in the show ring. I truly never thought I would be here. Emma makes our lessons fun and made me fall in love with Dressage all over again. I’m grateful to be working with someone as passionate and kind as Emma.”
